Does it work with Shopify, Webflow, and WordPress?+

Yes — Webalytics works on any platform that lets you add a script to the <head> of your pages. That includes WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, and any custom HTML site. We have step-by-step guides for each platform in our installation docs.

Do I need to set up custom events to track conversions?+

No. Webalytics automatically captures email link clicks, phone number clicks, form submissions, file downloads, and button clicks labelled as CTAs. You don't need to write any code or configure events manually.

What counts as a "conversion" in the Conversion Grade?+

The Conversion Grade weighs four types of user actions: Contact actions (email clicks, phone clicks, form submits), Navigation behaviour (pages visited, time on site, bounce patterns), Engagement signals (scroll depth, click activity), and Revenue actions (checkout initiations, purchase completions, pricing page visits).

Will it slow down my site?+

The tracker script is lightweight (<8kb gzipped) and loads asynchronously with the defer attribute, which means it never blocks your page from rendering. It has no measurable impact on Core Web Vitals scores.

Is Webalytics GDPR compliant?+
