This article walks you through the main sections of your Webalytics dashboard and how to use them effectively day-to-day.
Dashboard overview
When you log in, you land on your Overview dashboard. This shows your key metrics for the selected time period: visitors, pageviews, conversion rate, and your overall Conversion Grade.
Use the date picker in the top right to change the reporting window. You can compare any period to the previous equivalent period using the Compare toggle.
Navigating your sites
If you have multiple sites, use the site switcher in the top left to move between them. Each site has its own independent data set and settings.
Reading your analytics
The Pages tab shows all tracked pages ranked by visits. Click any page to drill into its individual metrics: traffic sources, scroll depth, event breakdown, and Conversion Grade history over time.
Setting up conversion goals
Go to Settings → Goals and click Add goal. You can define a goal as:
- A page visit (e.g. someone reaches /thank-you)
- An event (e.g. a button click auto-captured by Webalytics)
- A custom event you fire manually with
wbl('event', 'checkout_complete')
Using filters
Every report can be filtered by traffic source, device type, country, or UTM parameter. Click Filter in the top bar of any report to add conditions. Filters persist across tabs during your session.
Exporting data
Export any report as a CSV from the ⋯ menu in the top right of each table. Pro and Team plans can also schedule automated weekly email reports.
Weekly digest
Webalytics emails you a weekly digest every Monday morning with your top metrics and growth opportunities. You can adjust digest settings under Settings → Notifications.
